- Design
- Inspired by Himalayan palace mandalas. A palace with four gates and jewelled walls. The eight auspicious symbols (wheel, parasol, banner, fish, conch, knot, lotus, and vase) sit outside the seat, never beneath the body. A gold bead ring and a violet flame ring are the protective edge. The Khard Hridaya gold heart seed is at the centre. A gold gaze jewel marks the front gate.
- Meditation
- Edge is the body, the threshold you cross. The field is the mind. The centre is the soul.

Meaning
palace · four gates · eight auspicious symbols · gold heart seed
A mandala is a map of a world you enter. This one is a palace. Inspired by Himalayan palace mandalas: a palace with four gates and jewelled walls, the eight auspicious symbols (wheel, parasol, banner, fish, conch, knot, lotus, and vase) placed outside the seat, never beneath the body. The gold bead ring and the violet flame ring are the protective edge. At the centre, the Khard Hridaya gold heart seed. A gold gaze jewel marks the front gate. Edge is the body, the threshold you cross. The field is the mind. The centre is the soul.
